International Youth Scientific Conference «Oil and Gas»

From April 22 to 23, 2025, the 79th International Youth Scientific Conference «Oil and Gas - 2025» is planned to be held at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (in accordance with the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated September 17, 2018 No. 1960-r). 

The conference is held in order to analyze achievements in oil and gas science and technology and identify the main directions of scientific research aimed at the development of the oil and gas industry and the implementation of a program for the development of competitive domestic technologies and equipment, as well as identify and support promising youth research projects. It is planned to consider a wide range of issues related to the exploration and development of oil and gas fields, transportation, storage and processing of oil and gas, petrochemistry, equipment, automation of production processes, economics, industrial and environmental safety at fuel and energy complex enterprises and personnel training.

2.2. The development of gas fields and UGS (in Russian)

The following issues are planned to be considered during the breakout session:

  • problems of development and operation of gas and gas condensate fields at the stage of falling production;
  • problems of development and operation of gas condensate fields;
  • phase transformations in the development of gas condensate fields;
  • problems of development of gas hydrate, methane, gas shale fields, deposits with high content of non-hydrocarbon components in the formation gas;
  • the development of fields with anomalous thermobaric conditions and the complex composition of reservoir fluids (oil and gas condensate fields development);
  • improving the efficiency of processes of cyclic exploitation of underground storage facilities;

For speakers

  • Age up to and including 35 years. Young specialists and scientists studying at secondary, specialized secondary and higher educational institutions can take part in the conference as speakers;
  • It is necessary to prepare the abstracts of the report in accordance with the requirements;
  • It is necessary to create a personal account of a conference participant and fill out a profile or use an existing one, select an upcoming conference, apply for participation by attaching the abstracts of the report and the article (if available). The article is not a prerequisite for participation in the conference. In case of a positive decision of the expert commission, the abstracts and the article will be published in the conference proceedings and the proceedings, respectively;
  • Important! The conference program is formed on the basis of the abstracts of the report approved and passed the qualifying stage, up to and including 04/07/2025; 
  • Wait for an email notification about the results of the verification of the submitted materials. In case of rejection, correct these shortcomings and upload the file again by selecting the appropriate application in your personal account;
  • To wait for the results of the work of the competition commission, which will be published on the website by January 13, 2025;
  • In case of a positive decision of the Organizing Committee, you will receive a notification within 5 working days from the date of publication of the lists of participants of the face-to-face stage;
